ATAMS

  • What is ATAMS?

    • ATAMS is our custom coded flight tracking software.

  • Where can I download ATAMS?

    • ATAMS can be downloaded from the downloads centre in VAPTAMS.

  • FSUIPC/XUIPC

    • FSUIPC is requiered for all sims so please make sure you have the latest version installed for the sim you are running.

  • I'm having a issue with ATAMS not opening when I click the application shortcut?

    • Please check that you have that you have .NET Desktop Runtime 8.0.0 or greater installed. If that doesn't work you may need the legacy simconnect files that MSFS does not come with.

  • Do not have the legacy Simconnect installers? MSFS users may need these

    • If you have not previously or currently have a version of FSX or P3D installled If not it can be downloaded from here (MUST be installed in sequential order).

  • If you use windows scaling the application will not scale correctly

    • To fix this you need to right click the exe file click properties, click change high DPI settings, check Override high DPI scaling behavior and in the dropdown select System.

Training

  • Where can I request training?

    • All training is requested through the student portal in VAPTAMS

  • I can no longer make a training session that has been booked what do I do?

    • Go to the student portal in VAPTAMS and click the cancel button next to your sortie, enter the reason and it will notify your QFI.
